The tab has been calculated for the Iraq war

The numbers released by our government show a total cost of $3.5 trillion just for the Iraq war.

This means $11,500 for EVERY MAN WOMAN AND CHILD IN THE US! This includes anyone! Kids going to school, professionals in the workplace, EVERYONE!!!!!

A family of four is paying $46,000.00JUST FOR THE WAR! This DOES NOT include the cost of local government taxes, property taxes, etc. This is the debt owed to the government by all of us just so we can fight the war in Iraq.

Keep this in mind when you vote. When you voted in the last two elections, this is what it got you. A bill for $11,500 and a dollar worth fractions of its past worth.

Just think of all the wonderful programs our nation could have with HALF of the cost of war. Better education? More funding for the arts and sciences? Nicer parks? Investments in technology? Research in hopes to make the world better?

Even better, who do you think we owe the debt to, but one of the last and largest stronghold of Communism!

Here’s an interesting video to add to your point:

I heard on the radio that there was thirty-seven tons of ticker-tape for the parade of the New York Giants. I can only imagine how much that could cost. Having just seen the video with the thousands of homeless veterans in NYC, I think its pathetic they can feel good about spending that kind of money for something so frivolous. Imagine how much praise the Giants would get if they said, all the money that was going to be spent on the parade and press events will be donated to take care of the people without homes.

It is a very twisted sense of priorities.
