I heard on the radio that there was thirty-seven tons of ticker-tape for the parade of the New York Giants. I can only imagine how much that could cost. Having just seen the video with the thousands of homeless veterans in NYC, I think its pathetic they can feel good about spending that kind of money for something so frivolous. Imagine how much praise the Giants would get if they said, all the money that was going to be spent on the parade and press events will be donated to take care of the people without homes.

It is a very twisted sense of priorities.</description>
